A countdown for any event
This is the most flexible countdown on the site. Type what you're counting down to, choose the date, and add a start time if there is one. The result reads like “Team offsite is in 12 days!”, with the date and time underneath, and it updates every second.
People use it for everything that doesn't fit a ready-made countdown: a festival, a big game, a game release, a party, a conference, a reunion, a race, an opening night, a family visit, or a day off.
How it counts
The big number is calendar days until the date. Without a time, the exact countdown underneath runs to midnight at the start of the day; with one, it runs to that time, so on the day you still see the hours and minutes left. The boxes below show the same wait in weeks, hours, minutes, and seconds.
Everything uses your device's clock and time zone. Anyone you share it with sees the same date and time on their own clock, so for an event in another time zone, such as an online launch or a livestream, enter the time as it will be where you are.
Share or save it
Share this countdown makes a link with the name, date, and time built in, and a link preview that shows the days left, so you can post it to a group chat, an invitation, or a team channel. Download image saves a square picture of the countdown. The countdown runs in your browser, and nothing you type is stored.
Bookmark the shared link and the countdown will be there whenever you open it. Once the event has passed, it shows how many days ago it was.
