Terms & Refunds
These terms are an agreement between you and LemonPillar LLC ("we", "us"), which makes Notchiko. By downloading or using Notchiko, you agree to them.
The short version:
- The free version is free forever, for personal use.
- Notchiko Lifetime is a one-time $4.99 purchase for one Mac at a time. No subscription.
- Lifetime includes future updates and new Chikos for as long as we offer Notchiko.
- Full refunds within 14 days, just email us.
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Notchiko on Macs you own or control. Please don't copy, resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app, its Chikos, or its artwork, except where the law expressly allows it.
Notchiko Lifetime
- One-time purchase. Lifetime costs $4.99 USD (plus any applicable taxes), paid once through Stripe.
- One Mac at a time. Your license key can be active on one Mac. You can move it by deactivating it on the old Mac first; we can help if you no longer have it.
- "Lifetime" means the life of the product. Your purchase includes future updates and Chikos for as long as we continue to offer Notchiko. The version you have keeps working even if we stop.
- Keep your key private. Shared or publicly posted keys may be deactivated.
Refunds
If Notchiko Lifetime isn't right for you, email support@notchiko.app within 14 days of purchase with your checkout email or license key, and we'll refund you in full. Refunded licenses are deactivated, and the app returns to the free version with your countdowns intact.
Our content
Notchiko, the Chikos and their names, artwork, and animations, and this website are owned by LemonPillar LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law.
No warranties
We work hard to make Notchiko delightful and reliable, but it's provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Countdowns are for fun: don't rely on Notchiko for critical reminders.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using Notchiko, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Notchiko in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing here limits consumer rights that can't be waived by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the effective date above; continuing to use Notchiko means you accept the updated terms.
