How the anniversary countdown works
Enter the original date, including the year. The countdown works out the next time that date comes around and shows it along with the number, like “5th anniversary”. Once this year's anniversary has passed, it moves on to next year's automatically.
The big number is calendar days to go. The exact time underneath runs to midnight at the start of the day in your time zone. If your anniversary is on February 29, the countdown uses February 28 in years without one.
Traditional anniversary gifts
The countdown tells you which anniversary is coming, and this is the traditional theme for it in the United States. Lists vary a little by country and source, and many couples ignore them entirely.
