Every city, one glance
Each city you add gets its own spot by the notch: its flag, with the time right underneath. Hover over the notch and every city opens into a card showing the time, the city, the part of the day there (🌅 morning, ☀️ afternoon, 🌆 evening, or 🌙 night), and whether it's today, tomorrow, or yesterday for them. That last one is surprisingly handy before you message someone on the other side of the world.
Adding cities
Open Settings › World Clock, or choose World Clock from Notchiko's menu bar icon. Search by city, country, or time zone name, or browse every city by country before you type. You can give a city a nickname, reorder them, and hide one for a while without removing it. Your own time, Local, is always there too.
Time zones done right
- Daylight saving is handled. Times come from your Mac's own time zone database, so clock changes happen on the right day in every city.
- It works offline. Nothing is looked up online, so your clocks work on a plane.
- 12- or 24-hour, following your Mac's own setting.
- Private. Only the cities you choose are saved, and only on your Mac.
Free and Lifetime
The free version includes your local time plus 3 cities. Notchiko Lifetime, a one-time $4.99, lets you add as many cities as you like, along with every Chiko and up to 25 countdowns.
Right beside everything else
Your cities sit next to your countdowns, birthdays, and Pomodoro, so one glance at the notch tells you the time in Tokyo and how many days until your trip there. Notchiko is a native Mac app built in Swift, needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later, and shows as a small floating pill on Macs without a notch.
