Why Easter moves every year
Easter is set by the moon as well as the calendar. In Western churches it's the first Sunday after the first church-calculated full moon on or after March 21, which puts it somewhere between March 22 and April 25. Orthodox churches use the same rule with the older Julian calendar, so their Easter is often a week or more later, and occasionally on the same day.
